Email marketing campaign for product launch
Email campaign announcing the launch of a new line of automated welding machines for existing Airgas clients.

An SEO-optimized blog researched and written for a home remodeling company. This is one of my first official copywriting projects and its where I developed an affinity for writing about interior design and construction. This involved keyword optimization and independent subject matter research.
Two of the first blogs written for a New Jersey-based herbal supplement supplier. These blogs were written about a delicate subject for an extremely specific audience. The content here was based on in-depth interviews with the company owner and independent research.

Blog post written for ResumeToInterviews website. Posted on July 16, 2016. Following the acquisition of our company, I was responsible for developing a new brand and voice marketing us as experts. This was designed to transition us into that role while maintaining a comforting, friendly tone.
Album Review
A best of the month album review published in the Philadelphia branch of the Deli.com, a prominent music publication. This is where I developed a particular style. A lot of music writing is "they sound like Band X) crossed with (Band Y) with touches of (Band Z)". I tried to forego that in favor of connecting the music to visual aesthetics and underlying feelings. Someone once said "writing about music is like trying to dance about architecture". I think I learned to dance pretty well.

An article covering the onstage meltdown of Deerhunter frontman Bradford Cox at the Union Transfer on September 25 2013. This is one of my earliest pieces of professional writing, and while it's pretty rough, it holds a special place in my heart. I went in for a simple concert review and was confronted by one of the strangest experiences of my career. This is my effort to make sense of it on the page.
